I'm only new at twitting but about 3 times today I think I'm about to read a tweet about breaking news and instead of finding out something important happened, the link takes me to a sales page. I do go and look at some sales pages but at least let me know that's what I'm going to be opening and be honest with me. I close them as soon as I realise what they are and unfollow people who do that. Matt

It's the foundation of marketing. Especially in internet marketing, There are too many people (as you have said) just put up a website and leave it at that. So many are just copies of their brochures that don't work. Any successful marketer does the research first, then builds everything from that. Stick to the marketing basics - they work!
